Email Marketing Services for Retention, Revenue, and Lifecycle Growth

Lifecycle email programmes that give customers more relevant reasons to return, help teams make better use of their owned audience, and turn retention into a measurable growth channel.

Choose the right scope

What does an email marketing programme include?

Email marketing for ecommerce combines automated flows, triggered by what a customer does, with campaigns sent to segments of your list. Most of the revenue opportunity sits in a small number of flows: welcome, browse and cart abandonment, post-purchase and win-back. We audit those first, then plan campaigns around segments and deliverability.

01

Email audit

You send emails but are unsure what is working or what is missing.

What we deliver

Flow coverage review, segmentation and list-growth analysis, deliverability checks, design review and a prioritised roadmap.

What you receive

A roadmap showing each gap, its likely impact and the order to fix it.

02

Flow build

Core automated flows are missing, outdated or not personalised.

What we deliver

Welcome, abandonment, post-purchase, replenishment and win-back flows with copy, design, logic and QA.

What you receive

Live flows with documented triggers, filters and the metrics used to review them.

03

Ongoing campaigns and retention

You need a regular calendar of campaigns and continuous flow improvement.

What we deliver

Campaign calendar, segmentation, copy and design, A/B tests, deliverability monitoring and monthly reporting.

What you receive

Reporting on revenue, engagement, unsubscribes and list health by flow and campaign.

What determines the quote and schedule?

An audit, a flow build and an ongoing retention programme are scoped separately. The proposal states the number of flows, emails and campaigns included, and separates platform subscription costs from our fees.

Bring these to the first conversation

  • Email platform access, such as Klaviyo
  • Store platform and integration details
  • Brand guidelines and product imagery
  • Current list size, sending volume and any deliverability issues

The opportunity

Earn the second order without paying for the click again.

Repeat purchases are cheaper than new customers, but only if the right message reaches the right subscriber at the right moment. We check list growth, flow coverage, segmentation and deliverability before writing new emails, because a missing flow or a spam-folder problem outweighs any subject-line test.

What improves

More repeat customers and a list that stays healthy.

Better lifecycle coverage

Map the messages customers need from welcome through repeat purchase and reactivation.

Campaigns people want to open

Create a clear editorial rhythm around products, education, offers, and brand moments.

Revenue you can attribute

Reporting and testing that connect email performance to customer and commercial outcomes.

Service delivery

Strategy, design, build and reporting for every flow and campaign.

Each flow and campaign has an owner, a goal and a measure, and we report email revenue alongside unsubscribes and deliverability so growth does not come at the cost of list health.

01

Flow coverage and customer journeys

Map the moments that matter between first visit and repeat purchase and check that each has a flow with sensible timing, exclusions and personalisation. Product, browse and cart data from the store drive the content rather than a generic template.

02

Segmentation and campaign planning

Segment by engagement, purchase history, product interest and value, and plan campaigns around launches, seasonality and stock. Sending fewer, better-targeted emails usually protects both revenue and deliverability.

03

Deliverability and list health

Check domain authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), sending reputation and engagement-based suppression to meet Gmail and Yahoo sender requirements. Inactive subscribers are handled with a sunset policy rather than mailed indefinitely.

04

Reporting beyond open rates

Report placed-order revenue, conversion rate, revenue per recipient, unsubscribes and spam complaints by flow and campaign. Apple Mail Privacy Protection inflates opens, so opens are not used as the main success measure.

How delivery works

Fix the foundations, then grow repeat revenue.

01

Audit the account

Review flows, segments, list growth, deliverability and the data the store sends to your email platform.

02

Fix the foundations

Authenticate sending, clean the list and build or repair the highest-impact flows.

03

Plan campaigns

Set a calendar around segments, launches and seasonality with clear goals per send.

04

Test and report

Run structured tests and report revenue and list health so the next cycle improves.

Working together

Three ways to start, scoped before you commit budget.

Compare engagement models ↗

Audit and roadmap

A fixed-scope review of what is holding growth back, with a prioritised plan you can act on with us or on your own.

Build project

A defined scope with milestones, sign-off points and a clear launch date for new builds, redesigns and migrations.

Monthly retainer

An ongoing team for optimisation, campaigns and support, reviewed monthly against the numbers that matter to you.

FAQs

The questions worth answering before kickoff.

Which email flows should every ecommerce store have?

At minimum: welcome, browse abandonment, cart and checkout abandonment, post-purchase and win-back. Replenishment, back-in-stock and VIP flows help depending on the catalogue. We prioritise by the size of each audience and how the store currently performs.

Do you work with Klaviyo only?

Klaviyo is the platform we use most for Shopify brands, but the same strategy applies to other platforms. We confirm the integration, data available and migration needs before recommending a switch.

Our emails go to spam. Can you help?

Yes. We check authentication, sending domain setup, complaint and bounce rates and how inactive subscribers are mailed, then fix the setup and adjust sending practices. Recovering reputation takes consistent sending over time rather than a single change.

How do you measure email success?

By orders and revenue attributed to each flow and campaign, revenue per recipient and list health metrics such as unsubscribes and complaints. Attribution windows are stated so email revenue is not over-counted against other channels.
