Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage Shopify stores according to project requirements.
- Customize Shopify themes and create bespoke designs to enhance user experience.
- Implement and modify Shopify apps to add new features to eCommerce sites.
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to ensure seamless web design integration.
- Perform website maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Optimize website speed and performance across various devices.
- Ensure all web development practices are compliant with SEO standards.
- Provide technical support to clients or team members on Shopify-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Shopify development.
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
- Knowledge of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
- Familiarity with WordPress CMS.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring applications adhere to them.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A portfolio of Shopify projects or contributions is highly desirable.
